Whether it be from food allergies, an insect bite, or having worked late the previous night, we all experience puffiness in our face from time to time. Don’t worry, though, it’s completely normal, and it’s easy to treat! If your puffiness comes from a prior condition, chances are you’ve already taken your prescribed medication for it - but the problem now is that the puffiness itself still hasn’t disappeared. It will probably take a few hours before it completely heals. Luckily for you, we can help you speed things along! Here are several things you can do to speed up the process.
Get some rest
If you’ve already taken your proper medication to counteract the swelling in your face, then perhaps it might be a good idea for you to let yourself rest for a few hours? Once you’ve eaten a full meal (making sure to avoid anything unhealthy) and drank plenty of water, then you should be allowed to give yourself time to lay back and let the swelling pass. But what happens when you’re at work and you don’t have the time to wait away that puffiness in your eyes or face?
Use a compress
Whether or not you use a hot or cold compress depends on the cause of your puffiness, but either way lying back and planting a compress on your face sounds like a great thing to do. It’s definitely a better solution than simply resting and waiting for the swelling to disappear. But again, this doesn’t seem to answer the problem of what to do if you experience the swelling while you’re at work. You can’t just ignore your work for a few minutes to an hour because you have to plant your face in a hot or cold compress.
Use a face massager
You need a face massager - but not just any face massager. You need something like the Cool Face Roller by Coquet Joli™. It combines facial massage techniques with cool temperatures, effectively helping reduce swelling and inflammation in the face. You can use it while you’re on the way to work or while you’re at your desk, it’s cheap, easy to use, and doesn’t take up too much of your time. It can also help relieve headaches with just a few rolls over the forehead. The Cool Face Roller can also help tighten your pores, creating a smoother, more even-toned surface with every roll. Just put the head of the Cool Face Roller in the freezer for ten to fifteen minutes, and roll it on your face afterwards. It’s that easy! Feel the soothing sensation of the Cool Face Roller on your face and you’ll be back on your feet to do that presentation at work in no time.
